Meet the ship
Valiant Lady
Valiant Lady is one of Virgin’s four Lady Ships, and like all of them she’s adults only, with 20+ eateries and no buffets, WiFi and basic drinks included, and a big lineup of shows, DJs and parties. Most cabins are Sea Terraces with their own balcony and a signature red hammock. A Sea Terrace is the best seat in the house for fjord scenery.
The ports
Four fjord ports, three of them firsts.

Molde
The Town of Roses, tucked beneath 222 named mountain peaks, with sweeping views of the Romsdal Alps from the Varden viewpoint.
Nordfjordeid
A small village at the head of the Eidsfjord, genuinely off the beaten path, with Viking history and waterfalls nearby.
Flåm
Home of the Flåm Railway, one of the world’s steepest standard-gauge railways, just steps from the ship.
Bergen
The UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf, the fish market and the Fløyen funicular, all easy to explore on foot.
Why this sailing
Three ports no Virgin ship has visited.
- Three maiden calls: Molde, Nordfjordeid and Flåm.
- Four port days in a row, with a sea day at each end to relax.
- Fjord scenery straight from your own Sea Terrace balcony.
- Round trip from Amsterdam, a great city to arrive early and explore.
Before you book
Good to know.
- Every Sailor needs a valid passport and must be 18 or older.
- Pick your roommate first. Rates are per cabin for 2.
- One booking form per cabin, with legal names exactly as they appear on your passports.
- Pack layers. Norway in early August is cool, especially on deck.
- Flights to and from Amsterdam are separate. I’m happy to help you time them.
- Travel insurance is a smart idea for an international trip. Get a Travel Guard quote.
